DCV persistente

Dear TCS members,

We would like to inform you that the new DCV method 3.2.2.4.22 (DNS TXT Record with Persistent Value), as described in the CA/B Forum Baseline Requirements, is now available in HARICA’s staging environment.

What this method offers

  • Publish once, validate continuously: you add a TXT record to the domain’s DNS once and keep it there. HARICA checks the record automatically and renews the domain validation every 10 days for as long as the record exists, so no repeated DNS changes are needed for each validation.
  • Easier automation: the method is also supported through the API keys of Enterprise Admins, so domain validation can be integrated into your own automated workflows.

We have also improved the domain list under an Organization. It now has some UI updates and additional details, such as the date each domain was validated and the method that was used.

As usual, alongside our internal testing, we invite the NRENs and their members who would like to test, and possibly prepare for, the new method to do so. Please report any issues you come across, or share any feedback, before we move this to production.

Our support team will also prepare a new guide for the domain validation process, and will update the existing API Keys guide with the new calls for this DCV method.
